Is ABA play-based, or just drills at a table?

Play-based. Our sessions look like a child learning through games, movement, and natural moments, not hours of flashcards at a desk. We follow your child’s interests and motivation and build skills into the things they already love.

What if my child is non-verbal?

Many of the children we work with start with little or no spoken language. We meet them exactly where they are, supporting communication in whatever form works, including signs, gestures, pictures, and devices, while we gently build toward more language at their own pace.

Is ABA about making my child “compliant”?

No. Modern, ethical ABA is about helping your child communicate, self-regulate, and gain independence, not compliance for its own sake. We work with your child’s assent, respect their “no,” and focus on skills that make their life fuller, never on changing who they are.

What happens during a meltdown or a hard moment?

Hard moments are part of the work, and our team is trained for them. We stay calm, keep your child safe, help them regulate, and treat every behavior as communication, then we adjust the plan so those moments get easier over time.

Both. Most families start center-based at one of our three clinics, and our in-home program brings the same BCBA-designed, one-on-one care into your own space across the Austin area. Availability varies by neighborhood and schedule, so reach out and we will find the right fit for your family.

What ages do you serve, and how soon can we start?
