If your child has received a diagnosis, ask for a copy of the full evaluation report and review its recommendations with your pediatrician. If you are still waiting for an evaluation, your pediatrician can help you ask about other developmental supports in the meantime. Questions parents ask first
Can I contact Training Wheels before my child has a diagnosis?
Yes. If an evaluation is scheduled, you can start our application and select “Evaluation scheduled.” Texas Medicaid and many other plans require a documented autism diagnosis for ABA coverage. Our intake team will check your specific plan and explain what information is needed next.
Which ages does Training Wheels serve?
Our early intervention program focuses on children from 18 months to 6 years. Tell us your child’s age when you apply, and our intake team can talk through fit and current openings.
What happens after I apply?
Our intake team follows up to discuss your child, location, insurance coverage, authorizations, and available next steps. An application is the beginning of a conversation, not a promise of immediate placement.
